Parallel Lives

This short film was created for Christmas 2023. I wanted to send a message to the world about being more grateful, valuing our families, our homes, our food, and every small detail. The goal was for everyone who watched the short film to see Christmas in a different light and enjoy it even more.

A large part of the short film is self-reflective. I was once like the protagonist, not appreciating everything I had.

​

I also wanted to shed light on what is really happening in the world—things many of us fail to notice.

Christmas is a magical and wonderful day, but injustices and catastrophes don’t stop happening. That’s why I felt it was important to send the message that while we enjoy a warm plate of food, many others don’t have that privilege.

The short film was drawn and animated using Adobe Animate.
